Since 1992

After the break

When I suspended my watchmaking activities to focus on other creative work back in 2008,
I had in mind to only produce a new watch line if irresistible ideas would present themselves.
Such new ideas actually arose as early as two and a half years ago but I chose to take the time to see if these ideas would in fact become irresistible.
As it turned out, they did, and I had to realise them. Many trials, prototypes and refinements later I am happy that we finalised this colourful but distinguished line of watches. Shades of Grey.

The integration of high quality execution & minimal design have always been at the heart of Quantuz watches.
Materials like Stainless Steel, Sapphire Crystal and Titanium are allowed to flourish with these pure aesthetic choices. Giving rise to an exceptional unison
of material
and design.

With a history in ceramic industrial design, Paulus van Leeuwen puts an emphasis on the three dimensional nature of design. Watches are approached more as sculpture objects, leading to a surprising attention to detail, even on the back of the watches.

We still offer service to those loyal owners of a Quantuz watch as far back as 1992.
